What Are Some Of The Duties That A Day-Of-Coordinator Will Perform?
Depending on the package that you take and the level of your own coordination and planning process, your coordinator's duties will include:
- Prepare the Day-Of Wedding schedule and timeline for distribution to the appointed representatives in the wedding party as well a disseminating this information to contractors and vendors which consist of venue staff, photographer, videography, florist, caterer, bartender, DJ, entertainment, officiants, master of ceremony, police officers on duty, transportation, etc.
- Coordinate all wedding professional appointed by the bridal party
- Undertake the wedding rehearsal prior to the date of the wedding
- Manage the bride and wedding party with dressing, photo schedules.
- Maintain constant communications via phone, email and personal meeting to make sure everything is on-course.
- Liaise with bride and groom's contractors, vendors, suppliers, venue and other providers involved in your planning process.
- Guide the bridal party through processional and recessional.
- Monitor guest final headcount, catering requirements, seating plan and setting, seating arrangements and color scheme
- Ensuring that the Gift Table, favors, wedding cards and all other gift associated areas are arranged, displayed, inventoried and safely stowed away for security.
- Confirm floor plans, lighting levels, cake table and cake utensils, plate and silverware.
- Organize the end of night clear up and vacation of the building.
- And other elements of the planning process deemed appropriate by the bridal party.
